So wont give that piece my money but some funny notes from a friend that did:
Turk is a VFX guy, imagine two VFX guys picking up a movie where the VFX guy has an entourage.
Also there is a hilarious way to interpret this movie that has to be intentional or the most hilarious way to take it.
Big shiny lights come and steal the humans brains. Sort of like VFX being able to make a terrible movie take peoples time and consideration. Interpret it as a meta damning of itself and it is amazing.

So he IS a VFX guy then? They were a little vague on that, I thought. He was very interested in the Robot Sequence though.
